Leaflets have been distributed among Russian occupation troops stationed in South Ossetia for moral and psychological training of soldiers for an attack against Georgia.

There is no exact information when the distribution of leaflets started and in what units it is being done, but a propaganda leaflet entitled "Warrior, Know the enemy!" is similar to the leaflet which had been distributed in the units of 58th Army in the North Caucasus Military District and also hit the Internet shortly before the Russian aggression against Georgia in August 2008.

The new leaflet contains a summary of the current composition of the Georgian army, its combat experience in specific units and training programs they had, the Georgia Online writes.

The powerful sides of the Georgian army are: "Training of many units of the Georgian Army by NATO instructors; equipping Georgian armed forces with modern American and Turkish weaponry and military hardware; combat experience of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd field brigades in Iraq and Kosovo as a part of NATO troops, participation of 4th, 2nd, 3rd and 5th brigades in the 2008 war ".

The weak sides of the Georgian army are: "Low moral and psychological condition of troops, as well as low military discipline. There are cases of desertion, manifestations of non-statutory relationships, drinking in the units of ground troops. "

The authors of the leaflets talk about the low-quality personnel training of Georgian units in which there are no American instructors, and tell that "as published polls of Georgian troops show, the biggest and brightest dreams of Georgian soldier is not to take part in aggressive and militaristic plans of "Saakashvilians" but to go to Afghanistan - because for every mission, every Georgian soldier can bring home about 12 thousand dollars and significantly improve the plight of his family".

Russian soldiers are politically instructed in the first paragraph:

"In 2001, the Georgian leadership dramatically changed orientation in foreign policy, from Russia to the West, and declared its desire to join the Atlantic alliance, thus permanently damaging good relations with our country.

Despite the fact that Europe and the US turned away from Georgia after the 2008 war, the Saakashvili's government continues to conduct anti-Russian policy and militarize the country at intensified levels".

At the end of the Cold War, the Soviet Union had a total population of nearly 290 million, and a Gross National Product estimated at about .5 trillion. At that time, the United States had a total population of nearly 250 million, with a Gross Domestic Product of about .2 trillion. That is, the population of the United States was smaller than that of the Soviet Union, with an economy that was only twice that of the Soviet Union. Two decades later, Russia's population is about 140 million, with a GDP of about .3 trillion, while the population of the United States is over 300 million, with a GDP of trillion. Today, the population of the United States is twice that of Russia, and the US economy is ten times as large.
