Clinton stated about it on the meeting held in US department of state in the frameworks of Charter on Strategic Partnership.
‘We call on Russia to end Georgia’s occupation, withdraw its armed forces and implement other items of the ceasefire agreement signed in 2008. Georgia remains our partner, particularly in Geneva process. The US is committed to Georgia’s aspiration to continue these processes and we try to free Georgia’s occupied territories, as part of our obligations,’ Clinton stated.
The meeting was attended by Prime Minister of Georgia Nika Gilauri, Minister of Energy Aleksandre Khataguri and Assistant Secretary of State Philip Gordon.
