Next week, the parliament of Georgia will consider the issue of boycott of the Sochi Olympiad. Georgian Olympians will be also invited to the session.

The historical analogue for the parliament is the Moscow Olympiad of 1980, which was partially boycotted by western countries because of Soviet Union's operations in Afghanistan, as reported by the "Georgia Online" with reference to MP Nugzar Tsiklauri.

According to the "Rosbalt", Mr Tsiklauri has noted that Georgia would not like to disrupt the Olympiad, but wants to draw attention of the public to Russia's aggression.
