Kavkaz-Uzel reported that according to Khasan Tsoroev, father of Beslan Tsoroev, a resident of Ordzhonikidzevskaya village, Sunzha District of Ingushetia, assassinated yesterday, his son fell victim of extrajudicial execution.

According to the Department for Ingushetia of the FSB (Federal Security Bureau) of Russia, Beslan Tsoroev, 24, was killed as a result of an armed clash with FSB agents and militiamen, who blocked a house with suspected militants inside. According to power agents, Beslan was an active member of the armed underground; when offered to surrender, he rendering armed resistance and was shot dead.

In his turn, Khasan Tsoroev, father of the casualty, told the “Kavkaz-Uzel” correspondent that his unarmed son was executed in their house, possibly, after torture. He said that at about 7:00 a.m. his wife, Beslan and himself were ordered through a loudspeaker to get out of the house.

Then, armed people in masks and helmets, without any explanations, brought all the three out of the yard gate and put against the wall. Then, the father and his wife were put into a Gazel minivan, where they “where interrogated about their son, where he worked, studied, and whether he was sick.”

Khasan asked power agents to let his wife to go home to take medicines, but they refused. The agents did not admit local militiamen to the place of the incident.

According to eyewitnesses, the power agents drove a car to Tsoroevs’ house and took two large boxes and a stretcher into the house. The father believes that these were tools for torture at interrogation. The parents never saw their son alive after that; they added that Beslan was three times shot at his temple.

The local militia arrived to the venue one and a half hours later. In the meantime, according to the father, the power agents who had killed Beslan planted a sub-machine gun on his body. Khasan Tsoroev said that the casualty’s relatives had already told by telephone about what happened to the office of the President of the republic.

Apart from the relatives, the version of an extrajudicial execution was confirmed to the “Kavkaz-Uzel” correspondent also by local residents, according to whom there was no armed clash at the Tsoroevs’ house. “We heard only a few deaf claps that sounded like shots from a pistol with a muffler,” said one of them.

Beslan Tsoroev was a third-year student of the third rate of the economic department of the state university. He had never been brought to criminal liability, was never searched. This was stated both by his relatives and local residents.
