Cleansing Operation in Chechnya
The website Ichkeria.info reported that a cleansing operation were conducted by the invader accomplices in the Russian occupied Chechnya.
According to the news, inhabitants of the Katayama suburb in the Maskhadov (formerly Staropomyslovsky) district of the Chechen capital report about a zachistka (cleansing operation) on December 29. The occupier accomplices conducted a house-to-house “document check”. No hostage-takings were reported. The zachistka was carried out by the occupier accomplices under the pretext that several Resistance soldiers killed this year had lived in this settlement. Three Young Men Kidnapped in Ingushetia
Magomed Mutsolgov, head of the Ingush human rights organization “MASHR”, published a statement on his blog related to a kidnapping case which occurred on December 30.
The statement was written by Musa Khamkhoev, whose son was abducted by local security forces in the Ordzhonikidzevskaya settlement of the Sunzha district in Ingushetia. According to the statement, on December 30, 2010, Adam Khamkhoev was visiting a friend at the Pliev family home, which is located at 31 Roza Lyuksemburg Street in Ordzhonikidzevskaya. At around 9:00pm, a group of armed and masked local security forces in military camouflages came to the house in armored vehicles. They cordoned the street and entered the house without showing any documents. They took Magomed Girikhanovich Pliev, born in 1987; Akhmed Girikhanovich Pliev, born in 1991; and Adam Musaevich Khamkhoev, born in 1985. They put bags on the hostage’s heads, placed them in the vehicles and drove them to an unknown destination. The following day the Pliev brothers were released, but the fate of Adam Khamkhoev is still unknown. The Pliev brothers said that they were beaten and tortured while detained. Adam was kept in another room but they could still hear his screams. Third Kidnapped Ingush Man Has Been ReleasedEarlier we reported that three young Ingush men were kidnapped and two of them were later released. On January 3rd, the last victim Adam Khamkhoev was released as well.
According to the victim’s father Musa Khamkhoev, Adam was dumped in the outskirts of Ordzhonikidzevskaya on January 3rd. His son was beaten and tortured during his captivity. The kidnappers demanded that Adam sign a fabricated confession paper which said that he and his older brother Anzor committed a crime. The local security forces, who were the kidnappers, also robbed the victim. They stole Adam’s money, the registration certificate from his car, his driver’s license and the key to his house. The family is going to ask for public prosecutor in Ingushetia to investigate the case and prosecute the security force agents who participated in the kidnapping and torture of Adam. A Resident of Achkoi-Martan District has been Abducted Local sources have stated that armed members of the puppet regime abducted a resident of Russian occupied Chechnya’s Katyr-Yurt village in the Achkoi-Martan district.
According to the information, on January 10th, a group of armed and masked Kadyrovites who belong to the Second Road Patrol Regiment of the Police (PPSM-2) organized a punishment operation in Katyr-Yurt village. As a result, a resident who was born in 1984 was abducted from his house, which is still under construction. The puppets claim that their hostage actively provides food and aid to the Chechen mujahedeen and has done so since 2008. The fate and whereabouts of the hostage are unknown. A Young Woman was Abducted in ChechnyaLocal sources have reported that a young woman was abducted by armed bandits from the puppet regime.
On January 12, a group of Kadyrovites who belong to the Second Road Patrol Regiment of the police (PPSM-2) organized a punishment operation in the village of Dargo, in the Russian occupied Chechen Republic of Ichkeria’s Vedeno district. As a result, a local woman, born in 1980, was taken from her house to an unknown destination. The puppet authorities claim that their hostage provided food during the summer and autumn of 2004 for one of the mobile groups of Chechen mujahedeen, who were operating in Vedeno. The fate and whereabouts of the hostage are unknown.
