According to Alexei Dymovskiy, leader of the "White Tape" movement, and Yuri Dzaganiya, local CPRF (Communist Party of the Russian Federation) leader, the attack in Sochi on Mikhail Vinyukov, chairman of the Sochi branch of the "White Tape", was an ordered the crime, organized by those dissatisfied with the activities of the rights defender.

Let us remind you that on October 25, at about 8:30, in the Lazarevskoe District of Sochi, two unidentified persons beat Mikhail Vinyukov with metal rods.

An ambulance took him to the emergency hospital, where he received medical treatment. Doctors informed the militia about the attack; and inspectors came there to take Mikhail's evidences.

His mother said that after attack on Mikhail, an unknown person called her and asked about her son's whereabouts.

As reported by the hospital, Mikhail Vinyukov was diagnosed as follows: brain concussion, latent head injury, bruises and lacerations under head hair, stab wounds in the left shoulder, severe lacerations and bruises in both legs.

Vinyukov himself considers the attack to be "an action of an organized criminal grouping acting purposefully against those who reveal corruption in the ruling bodies." Earlier Vinyukov stated that he had been threatened with murder for his human rights activities.

Alexei Dymovskiy, leader of the "White Tape", has no doubt that it was "an ordered crime." "Nobody will attack a person with iron rods just for fun; the aim was to kill or to cripple," he said and added that on that very day he launched his own investigation into the crime, by attracting "healthy forces" in law enforcement bodies.

Valery Suchkov, founder of the "Public Assembly of Sochi", is also sure that it was an ordered crime. "The resonant executions of Liudmila Shestak, local deputy from the CPRF, and Arkady Lander, editor-in-chief of the newspaper "Mestnaya", and now the incident with human rights activist Mikhail Vinyukov - are sure evidences of ordered crimes. The manner of all of them is same. The public shall demand to reveal both performers and customers, and take the situation under public control," he said.

Yuri Dzaganiya, leader of the local CPRF branch, believes that Sochi cannot claim to be Olympic capital with such outrageous stories of executions.

"The attack on Vinyukov is an ordered crime. Someone coordinates and organizes the actions of a criminal corrupted gang. They try to intimidate the society and thereby weaken public control. Physically, to neutralize unwanted persons they use iron rods; while psychological pressure is rendered through specially launched Internet resources, where slander and insults are spread by specially trained anonymous groups. This nasty phenomenon shall be put an end to," Yuri Dzaganiya told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

Mikhail Vinyukov is a well-known Sochi human rights activist. Apart from leading the Sochi branch of the "White Tape", he heads the "Service to Protect Citizens Rights and Interests" created by several public and human rights organizations of Sochi in May this year. In September, Mr Vinyukov attended the congress of human rights defenders in Sochi, held by a number of public and human rights organizations of the Krasnodar Territory.
